One stave per person

Instructions

- stand in a circle
- everyone balances the staves with one finger and puts their other hand behind their back.
A leader will say up for left and down for right ( or vice versa)
- the cubs/scouts let go of their stave amd move in the direct called out by the leader.
- if the stave drops and hits the floor, they are out.
A leaders may call ‘1 up’ , ‘2 up’ for example, or -1 of the total number of players to make it harder
When only 2 players are left, place them a few metres apart, when the leader calls a direction, they run to the other stave to try to catch it.
