Resources

rope/string/sisal,
sticks/broom handles/bamboo canes,
tent(s) to practice putting up
campfire blankets with badges on, to tell the beavers about the blankets "story"

Instructions

can be done indoors or outdoors.
separate the beavers into four groups
have four bases with a leader running each
one base a leader tells the story of what each badge on their blanket means to them,
one base teaches how to do a reef knot,
one base teaches how to do some simple pioneering making squares and triangles,
one base goes through the process of erecting a tent, a 2-3 person sturdy a frame tent is ideal for this.
