Description

Pokémon are one of the most popular collections worldwide. People of all ages collect Pokémon cards, figures, toys and video games. You can even go hunting for them in the wild on the Pokémon Go app!

Pokémon are split into different types, including water, ghost and electric. In this game you will need to work as a team to collect all the Pokémon cards which are the same type as your character (water, ghost or electric) You will also need to look for berries and potions to help heal your Pokémon and make them strong!

Resources

3 x Pokémon characters, Gengar - ghost type (purple cards), Squirtle - water type (blue cards), Pikachu - Electric type (yellow cards)
60 Pokémon cards (20 of each type)
3 x golden Pokémon cards
3 x shiny Pokémon cards
Golden razz berry, pinap berry, potion and super potion cards (6 of each)
Points scoring card and pencil x 3

Instructions

Leaders / helpers to hide all the cards / berries around the meeting hall, or put them face down on the floor.

Beavers split into lodges with an adult / young leader, who should sit on a chair, holding their Pokémon character.

Beavers need to hunt for their teams cards. If they turn over a card belonging to another team, they should replace it face down where they found it. When they find a team card, berry or potion, they need to go feed it to their Pokémon!

The berries, golden cards and shiny cards can be collected by any team. Be careful not to collect another teams card, points will be deducted if your Pokémon eats it by mistake.

When time is called by the leader (when everything has been collected) it is time to count up the scores! Adults / young leaders to remove all the cards from the back of the Pokémon. Teams should work together to add up the points, to find out which Pokémon won the battle!
