Description

Scouts work together in teams or patrols to design a new kids ice cream concept and pitch it to the dragons.
The is great for teamwork, creative and taking part in a challenge with a goal.

Resources

Print a copy of the Ice Cream Challenge pack for each team or patrol.
Paper or card for the Ice cream and packaging designs
Felt tip or gel pens for drawing
Set up a line of chairs for the dragons

An option is to give the scouts each an ice cream - this is cheaply done with tabs of ice cream, cones, and spiracles & sauce

Introduce the concept, split the scouts into teams,

Instructions to Scouts:
1. Elect a team leader. Decide as a team what you want your ice cream to be. Divide tasks to team members.
2. Draw your ice cream concept on a sheet of paper (Task 1)
3. Draw the outside packaging with your brand on another sheet (Task 2)
4. Complete the Business Plan sheet (Task 3)
5. Create a 1 minute pitch for the dragons using your whole team – Don’t forget your ask of the dragons
6. Enjoy sampling your ice cream ……
