Description

A dice is made with Scouting History words all around it. When rolled, the word that ends up on the dice is then discussed by the leader and explained to the beavers.





Resources

Blue dice with empty transparent pockets on all 6 sides that can be filled with white papers with Scouting words printed on them.
A paper dice can be made from templates available online.
A sample template is attatched.

Instructions


Ask a child (or leader) to roll the die and discuss the word that comes up to introduce children to some scouting history points as well as to make sure they remember all ceremonies and promise etc.

Words are:
- Lodges (what are they)
- Log chews
- (Who is) Baden Powell
- (What's the) Motto (Be Prepared)
- BSO + MSF
- NGS
- Our group (Ihsan) & Section (Beavers Colony)
- Gather logs & build a dam
- Tail slap
- Handshake
- The Promise
