• Two Brownies make a ‘bridge’ or ‘trap’ with their raised arms in the middle of the room
• The other Brownies form a large circle and dance round, passing through the bridge/trap.
• The circling Brownies chant and clap to it rhythm.
• In Sudan players’ chant

Lion and Leopard
Lion and Leopard
Two-night hunters
Lion and Leopard
Lion and Leopard
Hunt their prey

• On the last syllable the bridge/trap falls
• A girl is caught and must drop out
• The other continue circling and chanting until another player is caught
• The two captured players form anther bridge/trap
• The game goes on in the same way until only two players remain untapped
• These are the winners
