Comic Relief and Red Nose Day: -

Comic Relief is the charity that organises Red Nose Day. It raises money by getting people to do funny things on TV and by asking people across the UK to plan things to raise money.

Red Nose Day happens every 2 years. This year it is on Friday March 21st. Red Nose Day is 40 years old this year!

It raises money for people in need in the UK and across the world.

Zanecty's story: -

Zanecty is 13 years old and lives in Nairobi in Kenya.

Zanecty has a disability that meant she could not sit, walk, speak or hold a pen when she first started school.

Zanecty's school got in touch with The Action Foundation which is a project given money raised by Comic Relief.

They help children like Zanecty. She can now walk to school with her friends and help her Mum and Dad with jobs at home.

She can speak and write too and is learning well at school.
