Resources

- Cardboard sheets
- Scissors
- Glue and markers
- Decorative items (buttons, fabric scraps, etc.)

Instructions

1. Provide each Cub with a piece of cardboard, scissors, markers, glue, and any additional decorative materials they can use (buttons, fabric scraps, etc.).
2. Explain how to draw and cut out a puppet’s face or body shape from the cardboard (encourage creativity).
3. Guide Cubs to use the markers to design their puppet’s facial features, and they can use the glue to add any decorations.
4. Suggest creating simple puppets with flap arms or legs for better movement.
5. Once finished, let the Cubs share their puppets with the group and approximately discuss what character they are portraying.
