Creating hanging fat balls for birds to eat.

Lard (butter as an alternative)
Bird feed.
string
lollypop sticks

You can also use honey, flour and water to bind for an alternative not using lard/butter.

Instructions

Roll the lard and bird feed together into balls. Make sure its tightly compacted

Push lollipop sticks through the middle of the balls or make flat cakes (cut out with cookie cutters).

Tie a piece of string on either side of the lollipop sticks, or if you have cut them out, you can poke a hole in each shape with a pencil or cocktail stick, being careful. Put a piece of string or twine to the hole to hang if up once it dries).
