Soft Archery activity suitable for squirrels, beavers and cubs at camp.

Instructions

Set up a designated shooting with the boards positioned 3m from a set firing line. (Can be shortened or lengthened depending on the young people’s ability).
2. Brief the young people on how to fire arrows, and safety rules (e.g. listening to the leaders, not crossing the firing line or shooting arrows unless told to, etc).
3. Ensure the queue is set behind the range at an appropriate distance

Activity could be used as a bit of fun for the younger sections, or introduce points for each of the coloured zones on the target to make the activity more competitive
