Description

Create constellation inspired lanterns using tin cans. Perfect for evening camp atmosphere and allows young people to take something home with them. This activity combines creativity with practical crafting skills.

Tin Cans
Hammer
Nails
Cellotape
Safety Goggles
Balloon Light

Instructions

Select a template and tape it onto the top (lid) of the tin can. Make sure the lid is still screwed onto the can.
Before hammering, put on safety goggles.
Using your hammer and nail make a hole through each dot on your template.
Peel the tape off with the template.
Open the tin and place the light inside.
