Blowtorch pizza activity for Humberside Scouts - Scouts in Space Camp 2025

Instructions

SAFETY:
- Maintain a safe distance from the blowtorch area.
- Tie back long hair and tuck neckers in
- Get a bucket of water

MAKING THE PIZZAS
Get the Participants to decorate their pizza with the toppings that they want.

Take the pizza over to the blow torching area (onto the grate of an alterfire)

Give a safety briefing about safe use of blowtorches

An adult must supervise the use of blowtorches at all times

Carefully get an adult to move the pizza onto a paper plate.

Let it cool for a couple of minutes before eating.
