Description

A series of individual or team based games where the games are played using various biscuits that the Scouts (mostly) get to eat afterwards. This is ridiculously good fun.
Award points for successful, quickest or fewest goes to achieve various targets, Award winner an unopened pack of biscuits!

Resources

Lots of biscuits. I used Jaffa cakes, custard creams, chocolate digestives, rich tea, cream crackers, and some biscuits I can't remember bit that had a hole in the middle! Work out how many based on the number of participants.
Pencil and blue tack
masking tape
Coloured Cake decoration paste
mugs (and maybe a bit of milk)
paper & pens (to keep score)
many tables

Instructions

Biscuit Hoopla. Put a piece of blue tack on a table nest to a wall and stick a pencil point up into it. Put a piece of masking tape on the wall 2 feet above the table. Scouts have to drop the biscuit with the hole in it onto the pencil so it goes through the hole from the 2ft height. Fewer the goes, the more points.

Biscuit curling. Each team has 4 Rich Tea biscuits, Mark each set of 4 with a different cake decoration coloured blob. At one end of the table, set an X with masking tape. Teams take it in turns to slide a biscuit towards the X. Team with the closest biscuit to the X wins. 3 rounds per game (Might need something to stop the biscuits falling off the end!)

Biscuit rolling. Mark 2 lines about a foot apart at one end of a table. Scouts must roll a chocolate biscuit down the table so it stops between the lines. Fewer the goes, the more points. (Might need something to stop the biscuits falling off the end!)

Eat the cake, not the Jelly. Each scout is given a jaffa cake. Scouts must eat the cake and chocolate, and leave just the jelly. Faster the time, the more points

Stacka cakes. Scouts / teams are given 2 full boxes of jaffa cakes. How many can they stack in a tower, one on the other? Higher the tower, the more points

Balance the Custard. Each scout / team is given 4 custard creams and a mug. Can they balance all 4 biscuits on the rim of the mug without them falling in? (Up the challenge, put milk in the mug!). Faster the time, the more points.

Balance the Custard 2, How many custard creams can be stacked edge on edge? Points given to most stacked / highest tower.

Dry mouths. How quickly can each scout each 3 dry cream crackers without a drink? (have one on hand for the end) Points given for fastest times.

Biscuit coins - Each scout is given a rich tea or a digestive and various coloured cake decorations. Give them a theme, or not, and get them to decorate the biscuits or design a coin, whatever, Arbitrarily award points based on which you feel are the best!
