Instructions

Will the Warden has been murdered. The Scouts job is to find out who the murderer is, what implement was used and where it took place.

5 adults/YL's/older scouts take on the role of one of six suspects, holding an implement in one of six locations.

The Scouts are split into small groups each with a sheet and pen/pencil. They can go to each area and ask one question about the person and one question about the implement they have. The suspects can only answer yes or no. The Scouts can return to each suspect multiple times, but must visit another location before returning.

The murder took place in the location where there is no adult/YL/older scout. The murderer is the person they can't find and the implement is the one that the suspects don't have.

This can be run inside in a building that has 6 separate areas so teams can wait outside without overhearing the other teams, or outside in a town or open space that has 6 distinct areas. If run outside, it will take longer, depending on the space available.
