Instructions

The Leader explains the game, and the Ladybirds practise the various movements of the animals:
Frog: hops with bent knees
Duck: waddles with feet out and knees bent
Dog: runs on all fours
Crab: scuttles sideways with bent knees and the arms waving
Kangaroo: bounds.

The girls are then divided into two or three teams and each girl becomes an animal - the same animals form all teams.

The Leader then calls out the name of an animal, and all those creatures race in the agreed manner to the other end of the hall and back to their team. The first Ladybird back wins a point for her team.
