Description
Find the combination for both locked boxes
The district Annual Nighthawk is an event that takes place in a local country park, with challenges bases dotted around. Groups from the district come along in teams of 4-6. They are handed a map of the park and sent out to various starting points around the park, their challenge is to get around the park and complete as many of the challenge bases as possible.
This is 1st Irchester Scout Groups challenge
1st Locked box is with a 4 figure combination padlock with the clue to the 2nd boxes code. Our second box has its own combination lock with 3 figures

Something as prizes in the last locked box ( we use sweets )
Instructions
set up your base with the locked boxes in separate locations ( but not to far apart ) remembering to place the backward clue sheet inside the 1st box
For the 1st box, Place the Clues around but not in a too obvious spot then hand the YP the sheet with the sequence of 13 numbers at the top. Once they finally get into the 1st box they will find the only a sheet of paper ( the backwards Nighthawk sheet ) have the mirror near by but not next to the 2nd box. they could try and read the message in various ways 1 is to turn the sheet around and shine a light through the paper or if they spot the mirror use that. the code is in plain sight even if backwards to start with
I have risk assessed the activity you will need to add the RA for the area you are using.
Maybe I should have added to the RA may cause headaches
