Scouts in pairs to choose ingredients from the table, mix up and add to bag of salt and shake. Limitation of spices could be required based on leaders assessment

Choose a name for your invented flavour and make a marketing poster for your product.

Each creation is to be assessed by leaders to decide the winner

Resources

Salt and shake crisps

Various food spices.

Plastic bags

paper, pens and sample crisp packed sheet.

Instructions

Scouts in teams choose different spices off the table ( you can limit them to amount of different spices)

Mix chosen spices in a small bag, Not much is needed

add some of the crisps to the bag and shake vigorously

small taste

Design a Crips packet for your product and choose a name for your flavour.

Each team is to do a quick pitch to a leader as to why the crisps should make the cut to go into mass production

after leaders have judged best crisps. Scouts try each others and see which was there favourite.
