Description

During the Second World War, Scouts carried out a range of tasks from helping evacuees to carrying messages during the Blitz. Their experiences in Scout helped them with this important work. Find out what badges might have given them skills and discover their modern equivalents. We also have notes for adult volunteers to help you deliver the activity.

Instructions

Have the Scouts work in their patrols to complete the quiz, encourage them to work together.
The first patrol to complete it gets points/a prize.
Keep going until every patrol has finished.
Afterwards go through each badge and see if they can find the modern day equivalent to the old badges.
