Description

Version of tag that can be used for meetings in UK Parliament Week.

In the UK Parliament Bills travel back and forth between the House of Commons and the House of Lords. This process ensures the both Houses have the opportunity to scrutinise and amend legislation.

Instructions

Designate one area of the playing area to be the House of Commons and another to be the House of Lords.

Choose one player to be "it" and split the remaining players into either MPs or Lords.

The player who is it represents a bill trying to become an act and must tag 3 MPs and 3 Lords (adjust this number based on the number of players) to try and get their support. Once a player has been tagged; they must answer a question about the UK Parliament (found in the 2025 UKPW Resource Booklet). If they answer incorrectly; they must go to the House of Commons or the House of Lords depending on whether they are a MP or a Lord. If they answer correctly; they are unfrozen and can continue playing.

Once the bill has gained the support of the agreed number of MPs and Lords, it has passed through parliament and become law.
