Description

Squirrels will bring a blanket to the meeting and build a den with their Nest.
Squirrels, with help from a leader will think about and plan building a den using the materials provided and the blankets from home.
The den must be big enough to fit all the squirrels inside.

First Nest to complete the task - 2 points
You can offer out a point for the other nests for things like unique design etc.

Resources

4+ Chairs
2+ long sticks / broom handles
1 hula hoop
Other materials like cushions etc are also useful

Instructions

Get the squirrels to join each other in their nests and explain the task.
Take pictures as they go to document their progress. (follow usual picture taking rules).
When the den in built all the squirrels must get inside.
Finish the session by awarding points and celebrating everyone working together.
