Description
Young People will cook a batch of savoury and sweet pancakes from countries randomly selected from around the world
Resources
Universal Station Equipment - every station will need these
Gas Stove
1-2 Clean 1L/2L Milk Bottles (with lids)
1 Large Funnel (to get flour into the bottle)
1 Frying Pan (non-stick is best!)
1 Heat-proof Spatula or Turner
1 Small Bottle of Vegetable Oil (for frying)
1 Roll of Paper Towels (for wiping the pan between batches)
Kitchen Scales (to measure those grams!)
Measuring Jug (for the milliliters)
Additional Equipment
Box Grater x 2
Chopping Board & Knife x 2
Rolling Pin
Small Bowl & Fork
Clean Tea Towel ut potato water)

Plates and Cutlery
Recipes - see attached list
Instructions
1. Split YP into small teams and get them to draw 1 country from the savoury list and 1 from the sweet list.
2. YP have 75 minutes to cook each recipe
3. One portion should be brought to the leaders for judging, whilst the teams can eat the rest.
4. Leaders should mark each pancake out of 10 and record the scores
