Description

Make a colourful fireworks rocket head band

Resources

A4 paper or card
Crayons or colouring pencils
Scissors
Cellotape

Instructions

1. Print the attached rocket headband template on A4 paper or light card
2. Ask the children to colour in the rocket and straps
3. Carefully cut out the rocket (including the main headband strap attached to it) and the separate extension strap piece.
4. Cellotape one end of the extension strap to the rocket headband strap.
4. Wrap the headband around the child's head until it fits comfortably and cellotape the straps together to secure in place.

You could then ask the children to play the Fireworks Fizz game (which can also be found by searching under activities) whilst wearing their headband.
