Making Cards for Special Day

Resources

A4 card
Scissors
Coloured pens or pencils
PVA glue or pop up stick glue
Craft materials (for example, strips of card, tissue paper, pipe cleaners, stickers)
Colour photocopies of hearts, flowers stars or whatever is to be cut out.

Instructions

Tell everyone that they’re going to make a card for the special person of their choice.
She the group an example of the kind of card you wish them to replicate.
Give everyone a piece of card to fold. This might be either plane or with a design to be coloured in.
Supply everyone with a scissors to cut our pictures etc and make sure everyone had access to pens & glue
Let people decorate and write the cards however they want to, but show them designs which might inspire them.
Once everyone’s finished their cards, everyone should come together and anyone who wants to can show their cards to the group.
Young People with SEND might need extra support.
