Description

A fun, fast-paced team game where Beavers race to collect as many pretend “chocolates” (cotton balls or pom poms) as possible using chopsticks, spoons, or tweezers.

Resources

- Bowls (one per team to hold the “chocolates”)
- Cotton balls or pom poms (these act as the “chocolate truffles”)
- Chopsticks – one pair per team (or per player if preferred)
- Alternative options: spoons or tweezers
- Hoops, trays, or shallow containers – one per team to collect the chocolates
- Timer (to run each one‑minute round)
Optional:
- A special coloured pom pom for a bonus chocolate worth 3 points
- Score sheet and pen to record totals

Instructions

- Split the Beavers into teams.
- Place a bowl of “chocolates” (cotton balls or pom poms) at the front of each team.
- Give the first player on each team a pair of chopsticks, spoon, or tweezers.
- When you say “Go!”, that player has one minute to move as many “chocolates” as possible from the bowl into a hoop or tray.
- After one minute, shout “Stop!” and the next Beaver takes over with the same tool.
- Repeat until every Beaver has had a turn.
- At the end, count how many chocolates each team collected.
- Declare the winning team — or award points for teamwork, effort, or technique.
