Description

Two teams of 3 compete in a game of curling with a difference, stones are made from mentos & sweeper use a straw.

Resources

Straw for each cub
Packets of mentos - Two different flavours so you’ve got a colour difference for the stones
Pens, sellotape & A4 a sheet for target

Instructions

Played on a long table, first the cubs need to make a curling target using pens & a sheet of A4, sellotape this to the table.

Cubs split into 2 teams of 3, each team gets 4 stones (mentos -buy two different packets for colour differences) one cub pushes the mento towards the target & the other two cubs are the sweepers using straws, they get 3 blows to blow the stone as close to the target as possible or knock their opponent out of the target. Any stone that lands outwith the target is automatically out of play.
