This activity aims to encourage Brownies to get involved and give something back to their local communities.

Resources

• Drawing Templates
• Pens/pencils/markers

Instructions

1. Print out the drawing templates.
2. Ask the Brownies to think about someone who inspires them – they can be from school, home, clubs, healthcare, etc. as long as they’re from your community.
3. Give each Brownie a template and ask them to draw their community heroes and what they do that inspires the girls.
4. If possible, arrange to gift the drawings to the people depicted as a ‘thank you’ for their work in the community.
