Learning about QCodes and when they would be used while sending Morse Code Messages.

Instructions

Split patrols down in to small groups no larger than 4 people. Each gorup is given the morse code activity booklet, and the Q Code crib cards. In there groups learning by practical message sending between each other.

Now in there groups, using pen and paper write morse code messages (to include Q Codes) to other group and have the groups decode the messages, when each group is confident in sending and receiving paper messages. Give each group a message to send, give them a few minutes to write them down and in a field, using the torch or morse code oscillator send practical messages to another group, and have the other group decode the message.
