Description
Make a poppy wreath
Resources
Red, black and green paint as well and a big roll or white paper
Alternate suggestion (for those who don't like paint - adults or children!): green card or paper (different shades, if available), red tissue paper or card, black paper or pompom, scissors, glue, corrugated cardboard ring (optional)
Instructions
Each child put their hand print in either black, red or green to make a poppy, the green was the stem, the black the middle and the red the outer. Its a great TEAM activity. It now hangs in our hall.
Alternate suggestion (for those who don't like paint - adults or children!): Twinkle video on making a handprint poppy. This can be done as a large wreath in a team, or smaller wreaths as individuals. Might be worth having a cardboard ring to use as a stable background.
