The Walker and Gutteridge cabins are 2 separate cabins but can combine by an internal door to make one large cabin which can sleep 40 and seat 60 for eating. This is useful for big events or group camps.
.177 Air Rifle Shooting is an instructor led activity offering a fun and safe environment to learn a new skill taught by our NSRA qualified instructors. This activity is for ages 8 and over, we offer Rubber Band Alley as an alternative for under 8s.
The Alan Gutteridge Cabin provides sleeping accommodation for 30 (26 youth and 4 leaders) with a large kitchen, hot water, fridge/freezer and gas central heating. It can be booked with the Walker Cabin for a bigger cabin.

Our Archery Range is located in the Millennium Activity Centre, it has a range of 15m with 3 Bosses. Due to the size of the bows this activity is only offered to those aged 8 years and over, we offer Soft Archery for under 8s. This is a great activity to learn a new skill and encourage a little competition!
The campfire circle is the perfect place for an evening 'Big' fire with a few songs and stories. It can even be used during the day as a base for your backwoods cooking or learning how to light a fire.

The Collier Hut is a small hut, it can sleep 12 in the main room and 2 in the leaders room. It has a kitchen and in the main room is an open fire. There is no toilet but there is one 10 steps from the front door. If booking with a camping pitch we recommend Deer or Peewit.
The D&P offers an indoor base for your stay. It doesn't have beds, although you can always put a roll mat on the floor, the cabin offers a log burner in the main room and a kitchen and toilet to the back. If booking with a camping pitch we recommend Badger or Peewit.
The Harry Walker Cabin provides sleeping accommodation for 10 but has in the past had Beaver sleepovers in the big hall, with a large kitchen, hot water, fridge/freezer and hot air blowers in the main hall. It can be booked with the Gutteridge Cabin for a bigger cabin.
The Rubber Band Alley is an alternative to Air Rifle Shooting and whilst aimed at Beavers/Rainbows and younger Cubs/Brownies it's fun for all ages. The 'guns' shoot rubber bands at plastic cups to try and knock them down!
An open fronted Swedish style log cabin, set in their own area the shelters offer a different type of camping experience. This can be booked on its own or with the 2nd shelter. These are ideal for DofE groups or for groups hiking in wanting a lightweight weekend. There are also 2 alter fires for use in the shelter area
A whole site booking is to be used when you want the whole site and all the cabins to yourselves, the cost of this is all the cabins plus a minimum of 60 campers per 24hours.
LARP groups and groups who have non DBS'd over 18's staying overnight must have a whole site booking
LARPS are only accepted November to May
Used to book if groups want to leave site on their day of departure without cleaning the cabins - an external cleaning company will then be booked to clean the cabins on the day after the groups departure.
Our Go Kart track is situated in the activity centre, it is outdoors so please ensure all participants are dressed for the weather conditions. The activity is self-run after an induction, a group leader must be present at all times during the session.

The Drey is for use by our younger members The Squirrels (and Beavers too). It is a place to gather, and contain, the young people if you don't have a building and are just doing a day visit. The Drey is a covered area, with a low level bouldering wall on the back to keep the young people entertained.
Come and try your hand at Tomahawks & see if you can split a piece of spaghetti with a throwing angel or tomahawk (axe) with our KATA qualified instructors. This is a great activity to learn a new skill and encourage a little competition! This activity is only offered to those aged 8 years and over.

For groups wanting to use the site during the week Monday to Thursday for wide games, fires or cooking then a booking can be made for this here!
This item is used for groups who are wanting to just visit for the day (Friday to Sunday) and use the site for wide games, fire lighting, cooking etc. but with no overnight stop.
It can also be used for groups who are camping but have leaders/helpers coming over during the day only to book them in.
