Rope with an item
(bean bag) attached to one end.

Instructions

- Attach a suitable item to the end of a length of rope. Ideally the item will
be suitably weighty, but not too hard, like a bag stuffed with another rope.
- The Pack must form a circle around you, at a distance similar to the
length of the rope. As you swing the rope around the circle, the item
should be passing just above ground level and the Cub Scouts will have to
jump over it as it passes them.
- If the item hits them, they must take a couple of steps back and sit out.
- As fewer Cub Scouts remain in the game, vary the height and speed of
the item.
You’ll need to be careful with this
game – spin too quick or too high
and you’re likely to cause injuries!
