Wellie boots, coat, torch (if carried out at night) plastic bag, worksheet, pencil, paper, leaves, twigs, stones & any other things found in the woods, paper, pva glue

Instructions

Before the Beavers leave the hall, ask them what they expect to find in the woods. Once the Beavers are dressed appropriately, give them a worksheet to fill out while they walk for 20-30 mins through the woods. Ask the Beavers to collect different leaves, twigs etc in a plastic bag. When they return to the hall they can glue their findings to their worksheet. Beavers can then explain their findings to the colony.
