Description

A ball game where players try to avoid being "got" with the ball. More commonly known as king ball or sting ball.

Resources

Soft football, something to mark an area, whether masking tape, stumps, bollards etc

Instructions

Mark out an area for play. One child has the football and stands outside the area. The other children stand in the area. The child outside has to hit the children on the inside with the ball below the knee. The children on the inside can defend using their fists, but they can not pick up the ball or kick it. When a child has been "got", they must leave the area and help "get" more children until there is only one left.
