Description

Two stage art project for Cubs working towards their Artists Badge. Each Cub selects a food they like, an item they value and a scouting activity they enjoy and paints it in a cave-art style using just fingers or natural objects. They then portray the same three items in a modern style perhaps as a drawing, a collage, a painting etc.

Resources

Paint, paper, twigs, moss, paintbrushes, sponges, scissors, glue and lots of helpers

Instructions

Split the group into two and have one half do the 'cave-man' aspect whilst the rest do the 'modern-day' version. Run for 20-30 minutes and then swap over.
