Teach the cubs Scottish Dancing. (e.g. Dashing White Sergeant)

CD with scottish dance music. CD player

Instructions

Show cubs the dance steps first for each dance.

(e.g. Dashing White Sergeant: Cubs will need to get into sets threes, each set of three face another set of three. the two pairs digonally opposite on the left turn each by the left hand, then the other two repeat. the cub in the centre does a reel of three and the the all go forward and back for two steps then pass each other to face another set of three.)

Introduce other dances as time allows.

If possible invite a Scot to lead the evening (ideally correctly attired in a kilt!)
