2-3 conkers per player if they are young pre drill and string them

Instructions

Conkers were pre-drilled with a 3mm bit. Cubs string their own conker, tying a treble overhand stopper knot at the conker end and a figure of eight at the hand end to stop fraying. String was pre cut to 18" (45cm) and one end dipped in hot wax to stiffen it to aid threading through the hole
