Making a Palm Reed cross as part of Easter celebrations or anytime a creative part along the faith theme

Resources

Reeds or long thin strips of paper

Instructions

1- Make a crease in the reed about 4 inches from the bottom, bending it back.
Make a 90 degree bend to the left where you want the crossbar to be.

2- Fold the reed over to make the crossbar.
Fold it back to the center to complete the crossbar. Bend it up and to the left at a 45 degree angle.

3- Wrap the reed around the diagonal.

4- Wrap the reed across the center. Wrap it around the other diagonal.

5- Thread the end through the center section and you're done!
