Determine the weight of a brick using the given equipment

Resources

Guttering, brick, see-saw balance, empty bucket, jug, full bucket of water

Instructions

Mark out area the length of available guttering. Place full bucket at one end and see-saw with empty bucket and brick at other. Make jug available. Scouts put empty bucket on one end of see-saw & brick on other. Then must hold guttering to pour in water from far end & into bucket at other. Balance water & brick and then measure teh water to work out weight of brick.
