Wide Game in Dark - similar to Capture the Lantern

Willing adult volunteer, scented candle, box matches

Instructions

The game is played in the dark.
The adult volunteer is an escaped prisoner. Escaped prisoner is hiding out and the young people must track him/her down.
Agree a game play area (field, common, campsite etc.)
Escaped prisoner would have historically lit a cigarette but we opted for the scented candle instead.
The young people use the light and smell of the candle to track the escaped prisoner.
The prisoner is allowed to move around and the young people should consider how to corner the prisoner by splitting into teams and using a "pincer" movement.
