Description

Make boats with plasticine to see how much weight they can take.

Resources

* Plasticine
* Scales
* Coins – 1ps
* Bucket/Bowl of water

Instructions

1, Split Scouts into pairs
2, Give each pair equal weights of plasticine
3, Each pair needs to make a boat/floatation from their plasticine
4, The pair who sculpts the object which can hold the most coins wins
5, They have 15 mins to make their boat

They can try out the boat as many times as they like while the time is ticking, but they only get one chance to carry coins at the end.
