A running game that tells the story of Saint Nicholas

Small cones
copy of story

Instructions

Put the young people into even teams and line them up at one end of the playing area
Put a chair or marker at the other end of the playing area
For each team give each young person a word from the story to listen out for, 6 words will do for as many groups of 6 as you have, although there is enough words for groups of 10
Read the story of St Nicholas, as the special words come up the children should be listening and when their word came up they have to run to the other end of the playing area and back and the first one back wins
