A weird sausage-based recipe

Instructions

Fry some chopped chicken and chorizo/pork sausages until cooked, then chop the sausages up into bite-size pieces.
Cut some smoked sausage up.
Chop up two red onions, pepper, spring onions, garlic.
Fry the veg briefly.
Add in the sausages/chicken.
Chuck in 2 cups of rice.
Add some boiling water (from kettle) and chicken stock cube or two.
Simmer until the rice is cooked and hopefully has absorbed all the water. I don't know how much water needs to be added - this recipe is a scaled down and cheapened version of a huge fancy recipe from an American scout book! So just keep adding water as needed until the rice is cooked and the remaining water absorbed.
