A Night Hike for Scouts with Sleepover

Plan the route and details of the activity in advance. Allow at least two weeks notification to Scouts. Send out kit list and invitations to other groups if required.
The route should be circular so groups can go in a clockwise and anti clockwise directions, so they don't all follow one another.
The hike can be a long or short as there is a sleepover after. This is a Friday or Saturday activity.
Completed permission and health forms required and complete Nights Away Notification.
Suggested start time is normal start of Troop meeting and pickup at 10am the next morning.
Before the Scouts set off check their kit is correct. Split the troop into groups of between 3 and 7 plus a Leader as per the T1 and T2 hillwalking rules.
Provide each group with a route card of their route and Start time.
