Scouts record their New Year Resolutions
1. Discuss the reasons for making New Year Resolutions
2. Discuss "Do your Best" and the Scout Law and Promise as a source of inspiration for resolutions.
3. Scouts should independently consider what resolutions they wish to make and should record these in writing on the sheet attached using the prompts on the sheet if they desire. The resolutions should be sealed in an envelope for each Scout. Encourage Scouts to think about active steps they can take to achieve their resolutions.
4. Next year, or on a Scout's last meeting with the section if sooner, each Scout should open their envelope and decide how successful they were in keeping their resolutions.
