Instructions
1. Discuss the reasons for making New Year Resolutions.
2. Leaders discuss "Do your Best" and the (Cub) Scout Law and Promise as a source of inspiration for resolutions.
3. Leaders to record the resolution ideas in writing (on the attachment, Cub Scouts no Faith explain that 'to uphold our Scout values' can be replaced with reference to a religious god i.e. duty to God, duty to Allah etc).
4. Cubs to present their resolution ideas to the rest of the group.
5. Cubs then use these ideas for follow-up activity: to create their own individual resolutions (New Years Resolutions wreath).
