Description

Sailing Weekend onboard Pioneer CK18 out of Brightlingsea. 10 scouts and explorers + 2 leaders experience sailing and dredging for Oysters in the Colne and Blackwater estuaries over a two day trip. Note: mixed gender and mixed scout /leader accommodation for 12 in large open cabin. Well equipped galley. Leaders cook for scouts and crew (of 3).

Instructions

Arrive Friday Evening, embark via motor launch, lights out 10 pm, early start from 6.am dependent on tide, Saturday sail out of Colne into North Sea, back into Blackwater, drop anchor Osea Island, Sunday, litter picking Osea Island, Oyster dredging, visit Sand banks dependent on tide, return Brightlingsea 4 pm.
