Lolly sticks
Sticky tape
Elastic bands

Blu-tack
Silver takeaway containers
Empty plastic bottles
Glue
Paper
Paddling pool

Instructions

In their sixes, Cubs have to design, build and race a vessel that can float on water.
Give them 15 minutes to design their boat explaining that one of the rules is tat once it boat is in the water it can not be touched
Cubs then have 20 - 30 minutes to build and test their constructions once the time is up, race them across the water.
