Make simple helicopters from paper and investigate what affects their rate of fall.

Instructions

The leader demonstrates making a helicopter and asks the kids what could affect the time taken for the helicopter to fall to the ground. The importance of making a fair experiment is discussed (change only one thing at a time). Each Member is then challenged to make a helicopter. Add weight to the base if wanted and test to see which takes the longest time to fall.
