Description

Cubs work together to create a Christmas tree using their hand prints

Resources

* Large paper triangle with trunk
* One sheet of A4 green paper per Cub (several different shades if possible)
* Pens and pencils
* Scissors
* Glue

Instructions

Give each Cub a sheet on green paper. They need to draw round both of their hands (they may need a friend to do draw round their writing hand for them) and cut them out. On one of the hands they should write a Christmas wish for themselves and on the other they should write a Christmas wish for the world. They then need to stick them to the tree, taking care not to cover someone else's.

Get the Cubs to work in Sixes and make it clear that none of them have finished until the whole Six is done - this should help encourage the ones who finish fast to help those who struggle with cutting/writing.
