We used this for the Explorers, when planning a camp as it went on towards the scouting skills badge.

Instructions

In patrols get them to discuss and write down the following:

i. Budget (how much is each explorer allowed to spend)

ii. Where are they going to camp.

iii. What equipment do they require to take on the camp.

iv. The menu and where they are going to get the food from (do they have any dietary needs they need to cater for)

v. How are they going to set the campsite out.

vi. What are they going to do during the camp.

when there is about 30 minutes of the evening left gather the explorers together and have them discuss and choose the best plan. (which you could use for a camp.
