Instructions

Beavers are shown and told information about Grasshopper Scouts. May prompt a discussion about anyone who has been to Hong Kong.
Include info about age (5-8), uniform (show picture), aims, promise (I promise to be a Grasshopper Scout, to love God, to love people and to love my Country).
Explain that HK is a SAR (Special Administrative Region) of China, it used to be under British rule.
Explain how there are two main languages Mandarin (origin Main Land China) and Cantonese (origin HK).
Include also how to say Hello (Ni Hao in Mandarin) and Happy New Year in Cantonese (Kung hei fat choi).
