A chance to say thank you to our mums. Good for just after Christmas or near Mothering Sunday.

Resources

scented candles, quiet/background music, tables, white table cloths, towels, Body shop at Home or similar provider, refreshments.

Instructions

send out letters apr 3 weeks before event, inviting mums to a free hand massage. Body shop at Home person will visit the meeting the week before the event to explain to the children what they will be doing. On the night set out the room with tables, cloths, towels, scented candles and mood music playing in the background. ask each member to take their mum to the table then sit opposite them. The body Shop at Home person will then instruct the children on how to give their mum a hand massage. The Leaders can then serve refreshments to the mums (and children) during the event. A display of goods is usually on show with the option (not mandatory) to buy if wanted. Plus a free prize draw.
